Nathaniel started his career in racing with Andrew Balding, helping with the placement of horses whilst also running the Kingsclere Racing Club, whose horses run in the colours of the brilliant 1971 Derby winner Mill Reef. Nathaniel continues to run the KRC, which has now celebrated over 125 winners and £1.8 million in prize-money.
Assistant Trainer at the National Hunt yard of Tim Vaughan in Cowbridge, South Wales from 2011 to 2013, Nathaniel returned to London to start up Nathaniel Barnett Bloodstock, as well as running Pimlico Racing, a leading syndicate with horses in training in the UK, Ireland and France.
