Gavin Hernon
Gavin Hernon
Gavin Hernon is an Irish-born Flat trainer who has made an impressive start to his training career in Chantilly.
Before starting his own yard, Gavin gained experience in several of the world’s major racing jurisdictions, including Ireland, Britain, France and the United States. This broad background has shaped an adaptable and internationally minded approach to training.
Gavin has demonstrated his ability to identify and develop talented young horses for high-quality races in France and elsewhere in Europe. His understanding of the French racing programme, combined with his international experience, makes him particularly well suited to owners who want to compete on a wider European stage.
Our first horse together in 2026 was a winner and I look forward to working with Gavin on a regular basis going forwards.
