Pitrizza makes it two from two

Pitrizza was claimed at Pornichet for €14,000 in October for new clients Sangwin Holdings Ltd, and she has made a perfect start since joining Tim Donworth, supplementing last month’s Chantilly success with a wide-margin win at Deauville yesterday.

Sent straight to the front by Ambre Molins, the daughter of Almanzor never saw another rival, quickening clear in the straight and only having to be pushed out to win by 2.5 lengths.

A scopey filly with a wonderful attitude, she is really thriving at present and though the handicapper will now have his say, she is capable of making a very bold bid for the four-timer on her next outing.

She has won over €35,000 in prize-money in the past month and hopefully there is plenty more to come!

Many congratulations to Tim Donworth and his team, as Pitrizza was the 50th winner since Tim started training in 2021. It was also his 30th domestic winner of the campaign.
