White Glory off to a winning start!
Recent purchase White Glory made the perfect start for trainer Tim Donworth at Compiegne yesterday, winning the valuable second division of the Quinte handicap with plenty to spare.
Claimed for €23,100 after his recent Deauville win for previous connections, he immediately recouped more than his purchase price when scoring under Cristian Demuro, who gave White Glory a very well-judged ride from the front. White Glory showed an excellent attitude and looks sure to stay further in time, so there are plenty of options with him going forward.
The handicapper has raised him 3kg for the win, to a mark of 33.5, so we are now likely to head either to Saint-Cloud on 5th October (0-34 handicap) or wait for options at either Bordeaux or Clairefontaine in mid-October.
