Dear Weaver scores for Chantilly Thoroughbreds

 In Nathaniel Barnett Bloodstock News

Dear Weaver recorded her second win in five starts for new syndicate Chantilly Thoroughbreds with an impressive, all-the-way win at Strasbourg yesterday under Gabin Meunier.

The five year old, in training with Hugo Merienne in Chantilly, was reverting to hurdles and looked a well-handicapped mare, jumping fluently and scoring with plenty in hand.  The success brought her prize-money tally to over €37,000 for Chantilly Thoroughbreds, having been claimed for less than half that amount last season.

There should be plenty more to come from her, as this was just her second start back from a good winter break.  We are targeting a €60,000 handicap chase at Clairefontaine on Monday 28th July for her next run, in which she should have a cracking chance.

Many congratulations to her owners!  If you would like to get involved in racehorse ownership in France, either individually or with our syndicate Chantilly Thoroughbreds, please get in touch.
