Classic Lord wins impressively

GoffsUK May Sale purchase Classic Lord made it third time lucky for the Tim Vaughan team with an impressive success at Fontwell Park yesterday under Alan Johns.

The R Cox & Pant Wilkin Partnership-owned five year old had previously shown smart form both on the flat in the UK and then over hurdles in Ireland. Encountering testing conditions for the first time this season, he handled the heavy ground very well and came home clear to win by 14 lengths.

Congratulations to his connections and hopefully further success awaits this season.
