Classic Lord doubles up at Bangor

 In News

Goffs May Sale purchase Classic Lord has made a bright start to life in Wales in the care of Tim Vaughan, following up his wide-margin win at Fontwell Park last month with another comfortable success, on this occasion at Bangor.

The five year old had shown some useful form earlier in his career, both in maiden hurdles in Ireland last term, and when running on the flat for Andrew Balding as a youngster. He seems particularly well-suited to heavy ground, his jumping is certainly more slick and he is progressing well.

Many congratulations to his owners, Roger Cox and the Pant Wilkin Partnership, and hopefully he can go close in his bid for the hat-trick next time.
