Dear Weaver records the hat-trick

Claimed for just €16,000 under 12 months ago, Dear Weaver brought her prize-money earnings to over €85,000 in that time when recording the hat-trick of wins at Clairefontaine yesterday.

In a valuable €39,000 contest restricted to amateur jockeys, trainer Hugo Merienne had called on the services of Harry Swan, who made the journey from Ireland to take the ride.  It was an excellent booking, as Harry gave the mare a top-class ride in what was a highly-eventful race.

It was fantastic to see her record that third successive win in the colours of our syndicate, Chantilly Thoroughbreds.  She has a Listed option (Grand Steeple-Chase de la Ville de Deauville) back at Clairefontaine and that is likely to be next.  Many congratulations to all involved.
