Fontainebleau double!

Two runners, two winners at Fontainebleau yesterday, with Melbora and Posafolie combining for a wonderful double for owner Will Sangwin, trainer Elias Mikhalides and jockey Cristian Demuro.

Posafolie had won in great style at Mont-de-Marsan just nine days previously on her third start since we purchased her in a claimer.  Turned out again quickly, she travelled powerfully and quickened clear to win with plenty to spare.  She has now won over €37,000 in the past two months and looks sure to be very competitive in her hat-trick bid next time.

Melbora has been an incredibly consistent performer in the past nine months, finishing out of the first three on just two of her last 12 starts!  A winner at Deauville last summer on her second start since we claimed her, she returned to winning ways with an authoritative victory under Championship leader Demuro.  She has now won €85,000 in under a year and is a fantastic advert for ownership in French racing.
